কবিতা - ঝড় থামে, বৈষম্য থামে না — শাহ্ আলম আল মুজাহিদ

ঝড়ো হাওয়া বইছে এলোকেশে,
ডাঙায় জলে শুভ্র মেঘের দেশে।
গগন ললাট ঘামে উচ্ছ্বাসে,
দিগন্ত ঘিরে মহাতিমির আসে।

বট-হিজলের ডাল ভেঙে পড়ে,
ভূধর কাঁপে ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ দেখে।
মাঠের ফসল গড়াগড়ি করে,
চাষাভাইয়ের অশ্রু ঝরে চোখে।

অভাগিনীর কুঁড়েঘরটি ভাঙে,
সর্বহারা পথিক ধুমড়ে পড়ে।
ঘুষের টাকায় মহাশান্তি এনে,
রইল কেহ অট্টালিকার পরে।

Stormy winds blow through tangled hair,
Over land and river, in the realm of white clouds.
The sky sweats with wild excitement,
Darkness spreads around the horizon.

Branches of banyan and hijol fall apart,
The trembling earth witnesses destruction.
Crops roll over the muddy field,
The farmer’s tears flood his eyes.

The poor woman’s hut collapses,
The lost wanderer falls to dust.
Yet, with bribe-money, someone buys “peace,”
And rests safe behind a marble mansion.
